Interview, UNAIDS Country Director for Sierra Leone

Isaac Ahemesah is the Country Director for UNAIDS for Sierra Leone and Liberia. UNAIDS is the UN agency responsible for coordinating global response to the HIV pandemic. In this interview with Manoreporters editor Kemo Cham, Mr Ahemesah discusses the highs and lows of Sierra Leone’s response, from the threat posed by criminalization of the lifestyle of people in the key populations, to gains that need reinforcement to sustain the response efforts. The Ghanaian Public Health expert starts with a detail explanation of what UNAIDS does.
