Neglected Voices: Kabala – deep-seated resentments for Bio’s ‘New Direction’

Koinadugu: Deep-seated resentments over years of under-development Koinadugu, with its characteristic mountainous landscape, stands out among Sierra Leone’s districts for its unique blend of culture and tradition, hence its nickname – the Land of Powerful Mixture. But the people of Koinadugu have for a long time felt left out in terms of development. A ManoReporters team spent a few days in Kabala in mid-October and explored some of these concerns.
