ADIPEC 2024: Sierra Leone seeks quick fixes for energy challenges (VIDEO)

Sierra Leone’s Deputy Minister of Energy, Edmond Nonie, has said that the country is looking for quick fixes for its pressing energy challenges, even as it works on long term solutions.

Mr Nonie is participating in the 2024 Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference (ADIPEC), the largest gathering of energy professionals and investors in the world.

Nonie says a major concern for his government is to the current load shedding, and he says more power stations are needed to resolve that.
