Sierra Leone 2023 General Elections: High Expectations Among Voters

Sierra Leoneans turned out in large numbers on Saturday, June 24, to vote in one of the country’s tightly contested general elections in its recent history. The over 3.3 million eligible voters are choosing a new President, lawmakers and local council representatives.
